Question: Can the Reading Center Probes be
used for Progress Monitoring
Answer: There are progress monitoring
probes within the Reading Center and those can be
used. However the instructional probes are not well suited to
progress monitoring because within a grade level
they get progressively more difficult. If they
were to be used, then three probes should be
randomly selected and the median taken for each
progress monitoring session.
